Tea Party Patriots Bringing the Conscience of America to Washington DC

The Onslaught Continues

The battle to reduce our society to an anything goes state, is ramping up.  The progressive left has been failing on air and on the wide screen.  Witness the fact that there are nearly 500 TV Channels to choose from if you had Cable and/or Satellite TV.  If they were really good at what they did, the new comers would have a hard time getting a foothold.  Look a little further to talk radio, the only thing the liberals set on fire was the production studio and they all had to bail out on the first train out of town.  The movies?  Sex, mega violence, profanity have become their main ingredients and they work to include more and more as the parade of new movies grows ever bigger, quantity not quality.  Think about the last time there was a movie that everyone in the world was compelled to go see, uh yeah, they were filmed 10 or more years ago!!

So the industry has settled in on the sex, violence and profanity trio with attacks on all things good, like God, family, conservative and Christian values by promoting the worst behaviors as the norm.  ABC and Disney who have usually been associated with family entertainment, but have had a decidedly liberal slant in their news views are letting their left side take over in a new show they are piloting.  Check out these two articles: http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/03/04/critics-slam-abc-pi... and http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/mar/7/inside-the-beltway-1... and see how far down the slippery slope we are.  Not content with just attacking Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter and other conservative women they are now after most all the conservative women, the easiest target being Christian women.

The producers claim the show to be comedy or parody but somehow, picking “B____s” instead of “Housewives”, implies to me at least, that they are trying to make an anti-conservative, anti-Christian political statement.

A recent study that compiled research from the past 25 years has proved conclusively that what folks read, hear and see on the radio, computer, TV and in the movies impact how they behave in the real world.  Further, the interactive ones like video games and reality shows where people get into the character have an even greater impact, and the viewer/participants are more likely to act out these behavior patterns in real life.  Finally, we have a study confirming what anyone with a lick of common sense has been aware of for years.  By the way, behavior includes political preferences and advocacy.

Our work is certainly cut out for us, I don’t know about you, but when I am confronted with news like this I just double down on my efforts!  We are the crusaders of the 21st century and our swords are our pens, computers and instruments that we use to spread the word in our fight for limited government, personal freedom, freedom of religion, freedom from persecution, family values and liberty for all, as our founding fathers defined it and imbued it in our Constitution.

Thank you all, for everything that you do toward restoring our culture and liberty!

Take The Town Halls To Washington

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nationwide Tea Party Coalition - "Take The Town Halls To Washington"
MEMPHIS, Tennessee (March 5, 2010) - The Nationwide Tea Party Coalition is today announcing a new project, "Take The Town Halls To Washington", which is designed to bring tea party activists to Washington, DC during the month of March to meet, question and review the positions of approximately 60 Democrat members of the House of Representatives whose vote on the pending Health Care legislation has not yet been publicly announced. Tea Party Nation is a collaborating partner in the project.
Spokesman Mark A. Skoda, who is also Chairman of The Memphis TEA Party stated, "President Obama has indicated his willingness to ignore the people and force his bill through Congress using whatever means necessary. Our objective is to bring thousands of constituents to DC to meet with their representatives, capture their comments and produce a review of those positions on a daily basis. We believe that time is of the essence and the people need to understand where these representatives stand before any vote is taken."
Organizer, Michael Patrick Leahy further stated, "After more than a year of tea party resistance to the big government efforts of the Obama Administration, it all comes down to the next 3 weeks. The Administration has made it clear. They intend to ram down the Health Care takeover through a corrupt Congress by the end of this month, in direct defiance of the clearly expressed will of the American people.”
“It is time for every tea party activist across the country to consider dropping everything he or she is doing and join us in the most important battle of our life time. We need your energy, commitment, and efforts to make this succeed. We need you to consider coming to Washington during this 3 week period, and if you can’t come to Washington, be part of this project in your local area.”
A nationwide webcast is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2010 with meetings in DC scheduled to begin the following day through March 31, 2010. Logistics are being coordinated for those coming to Washington and daily briefings and reviews are scheduled during the project. It is expected that visits will take place while Congress is in session from Monday through Friday.
The Nationwide Tea Party Coalition is an informal federation of thirty local tea parties from around the country who work collaboratively on important national projects. It was the group that organized the February 27, 2009 “Nationwide Chicago Tea Party” in 51 cities around the country that launched the Tea Party Movement, as well as the April 15, 2009 Tax Day Tea Party, where 1 million tea party activists attended events in over 900 cities.
